Doc The Lion (DTL) is a multifaceted DJ, music producer, recording artist, and entertainer from Indianapolis, Indiana, by way of Berkeley, California, now based in Seattle, Washington.
His journey behind the turntables began at just 10 years old when a group of older DJs invited him to step up and spin at a neighborhood block party. That moment sparked a lifelong passion for music and entertaining crowds that continues more than four decades later.
With an extensive background in radio, live entertainment, music production, and recording engineering, Doc The Lion brings a unique musical experience to every stage he touches. From corporate events and private celebrations to weddings, nightclubs, and major festivals, DTL knows how to read a room, command a crowd, and create an atmosphere that keeps people moving.
His musical journey includes on air appearances at stations such as WHHH, WTLC, KUBE, and KSER 90.7 FM, where his passion for connecting people through music continues to shine.
Beyond the turntables, Doc The Lion is the founder of Optiq Music Group, collaborating with talented artists while developing his own distinctive sound. His discography includes the albums Sun Splash, released in 2021, Bad Boyz Forever, a reunion project with the Bad Boyz released later that year, and his latest solo album, Flamingo!, released July 23, 2026.
His entrepreneurial vision also extends to ACE100 Vegas, an online radio station preparing for an exciting relaunch in December 2026. Together with Optiq Music Group, ACE100 represents another chapter in DTL’s ongoing commitment to music, entertainment, and creating experiences that bring people together.
